Travel to Wide Bay region by plane
This is the preferred and most convenient method of travel for international students. Students flying into Australia can arrange connecting flights from Brisbane or Sydney to the Wide Bay region from most domestic terminals. It takes 40 minutes from Brisbane and 1 hour and 45 minutes from Sydney to reach the Fraser Coast airport located in Hervey Bay.
Fraser Coast (Hervey Bay) has direct flights from Brisbane or Sydney on a daily basis.

Rail

Bus
You can travel to Hervey Bay from Brisbane or from the north of the state by road coach. Greyhound (http://www.greyhound.com.au/default.aspx) has a number of coaches running through Hervey Bay at various times every day.
