Indigenous Students
Wide Bay Institute of TAFE has over 2,000 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander enrolments each year. Between 72% and 75% of students pass, enriching local communities across the Wide Bay - Burnett with skills and knowledge across a variety of industries.
Students can train on campus, in the workplace or via flexible delivery. Specialized Indigenous programs can be coordinated, in the community, dependant on numbers.

Wide Bay Institute of TAFE employs an Indigenous Support Officer, as well as providing literacy and numeracy support, disability support, and access for students to free counseling.

There may be ways we can help you out with course fees through concessions. Fees also depend on whether you are full-time, part-time or studying externally.
