Bundaberg College campuses and facilities
Walker Street campus
The Bundaberg College's main campus at Walker Street houses many facilities including trade workshops, a hairdressing training facility, retail training facilities, comprehensive library, flexible learning centre and a self-funding child care centre used as a training facility for students.
Marine campus
WideBay TAFE's maritime industry training is based at the Bundaberg campus and delivered throughout Australia. TAFE Queensland's industry-oriented Marine Training Centre is located at the Bundaberg Port.
Horticulture facility
The Walker Street campus features a horticulture facility which is intended for teaching plant industry content. There is adequate space and variety in the physical structures to provide opportunities for groups of students to relate the concepts they have been taught to this more practical setting.
Plants are produced by students by traditional propagation methods and also by micropropagation ("tissue culture"). The functioning production nursery at this campus is accredited with NIASA (Nursery Industry Accreditation Scheme Australia). This is a national scheme for production nursery (growers) and growing media (potting mix) businesses which operate in accordance with a set of national 'best practice' guidelines.
Theatre
The Bundaberg College Walker Street campus also has a theatre which features:
- 250 seats (with fold away tables)
- full size screen
- fully curtained stage area
- video monitor
- well appointed audio/visual booth
- stage lighting
- air conditioning.

Mechanical and engineering workshops
WideBay TAFE offers excellent training facilities to both students and industry. All colleges feature mechanical and engineering workshops which feature the latest technological and diagnostic equipment.
This ensures you receive training in an actual workshop environment - providing you with the "hands on" skills employers seek.
Industry apprentices, trainees and staff receive practical training that can instantly be put to use in their workplace.
