Gympie TAFE urges students to finalise enrolments
Friday, 1 February 2008
Those wanting to improve their English, carve out a successful career in the commercial world, or have a burning desire to work with people or want to learn the ropes in hospitality, their ambitions can be fulfilled at the Wide Bay Institute of TAFE in Gympie.
The college offers programs in English Skills, Business Studies, Financial Services, Child Care, Aged Care, Disability Services and Hospitality that are about to restart for 2008.
They are just a few of 44 different programs now available for students studying full-time, part-time, externally, on-the-job or online at TAFE's Gympie campus.
Customer Care Team Leader, Paula Jonauskis encourages students not to leave their enrolments to the last minute as programs are filing up quickly.
"This particularly applies to students who may be still making up their minds about study options or may be unsure about which program to enrol into," Ms Jonauskis said.
"We understand that not everyone can study full-time at college so we have a range of study options that make it possible for just about anyone in any situation to undertake studies."
Classes begin at the start of February and staff members are now on-deck to discuss career and program options and help students sort out their enrolment options.
Students can enrol at Gympie TAFE's Customer Care Centre where staff are also able to arrange appointments with Program Teachers, the Student Counsellor or the Disability Support Officer.
Alternatively, you can contact the Call Centre on 1300 656 188 for all program information and enrolment queries.
Gympie's Customer Care Centre is open between 8.00am and 4.00pm Monday -Thursday and 8.00am - 2.00pm Fridays.
